Finally! After many comings and goings, The Batman, the next Batman movie, has finally started filming. The film will be directed by Matt Reeves (Planet of the Apes), who used his Twitter to post an image that depicts the beginning of work on the new production of the Crusader Hooded, which will now be played by Robert Pattinson (The Lighthouse, Twilight Saga).
As far as is known, The Batman will have three villains: Pinguin, played by Colin Farrel; Charade, made by Paul Dano; and Catwoman, played by Zoe Kravitz. They complete the main cast of the film Jeffrey Wright as Jim Gordon and Andy Serkis as Alfred.
Other images show that the film is being shot in London, with the work started in early January. It is possible to see some cars marked as "Gotham City Police Department" (or Gotham City PD, as they wish) and a car with a logo that indicates that it is from some news vehicle. In the image, you can also see Colin Farrel.

Let's remember?
Since the end of the Justice League, there has been talk about the next Batman film, which would give a natural sequence to the events of the film that brings together the main heroes of DC. But, with Ben Affleck's official withdrawal, who would not only play the Batman, but would also be the director, everything had to be changed in haste.

This new version focuses on a Batman as a detective in his youth days, which is a big change from the older version envisioned by Affleck. The choice of villains takes us back to the 1992 Batman: Returns movie, with the addition of the Riddler, which appears only in 1995's Batman: Forever.
What's up, reader friend? Looking forward to the next Batman movie? Leave it in the comments.
