After having recently updated its lineup of powerful smartphones with the OnePlus 10 Pro and OnePlus 10R, the Chinese brand is expected to present the OnePlus 10 Ultra in the coming weeks. New information released by the profile @heyitsyogesh on Twitter reveals some technical details of the device, especially in the aspects of performance and cameras.

According to the post, the device should come with the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus, a platform that has not yet been officially announced by Qualcomm. Switching from Samsung to TSMC, the processor will be able to operate at higher frequencies, in addition to bringing other improvements in performance and power autonomy.
In addition, the OnePlus 10 Ultra is expected to bring a big focus on cameras, unlike the OnePlus 10 Pro which basically recycled the same components as its predecessor in the main camera. The new cell phone may also present better results in auxiliary sensors for ultrawide and telephoto.
The overall performance of the cameras should also be helped by the MariSilicon X platform. The component was presented by Oppo at the end of last year as the brand’s first proprietary chip, and its use in OnePlus devices reinforces the results of the merger between the two companies. .
Other OnePlus phones
In the same tweet, @heyitsyogesh points out that the standard OnePlus 10 is expected to bring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 (not the Plus version), and other markets will receive the device with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000 chipset.
Other rumors related to the device point out that it will be able to bring a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen and Full HD resolution. Its main camera should have 50 MP, while the battery will be 4,800 mAh with support for fast charging of 150 W.
OnePlus is also working on mid-range phones, using chipsets like the Dimensity 8000 and Snapdragon 888 in series like Nord. Other devices will still receive the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, which could make its debut in the Oppo Reno 8.
The brand has not yet confirmed the existence of the new devices, and therefore it is not possible to state their release date at the moment. The company is expected to introduce the OnePlus 10 Ultra during the months of August or September, and new information could be released over the next few weeks.
