Apple announced a few days ago its iPhone 13 line, with its four new smartphones. The devices arrived as one-off updates for the iPhone 12 series devices, with a lot of focus on cameras and minor visual tweaks, in addition to the adoption of the ProMotion screen in Pro phones.

ProMotion is Apple’s name for supporting the 120 Hz refresh rate on the screens of its products, already present in iPad Pro since the 2018 generation. Now, information from the Korean website The Elec says that at least one device the iPhone 14 generation, slated to be unveiled in 2022, will still support a refresh rate of just 60Hz.

That way, all the rest of the cell phones would have the most fluid screen, debuted with the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. 4 inches must be abandoned. Still, Apple should bring four new devices in the second half of the year.

The strategy would be to offer two 6.1-inch models and two 6.7-inch models. Thus, they would be an iPhone 14 and a supposed “iPhone 14 Max”, 6.1 and 6.7 inches, respectively, as well as an iPhone 14 Pro and an iPhone 14 Pro Max, with the same sizes.

If only one maintains a 60 Hz rate, it is possible that the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max has a 120 Hz refresh rate, for example, making it have an extra difference in relation to its little brother, in addition to the your size.

Anyway, it’s still a year before the arrival of the iPhone 14 line, since not even the iPhone 13 hit stores. So, keep an eye out here at FreeGameGuide so you don’t miss any news.
