All About Samsung
Samsung should actually hold an Unpacked in August to present its main products for the second half of 2021. According to two informants, the company will hold an event at the beginning of the eighth month of the year, more precisely on August 3rd. Another source would have disclosed the start dates of sales for both watches and folding smartphones.

The first to disclose the information was journalist Max Weinbach, who posted a kind of riddle on his Twitter, saying that two numbers 3 and another two numbers 4 would be released on August 8th. Editor Joshua Swingle supplemented the information with the event name and the four devices: Galaxy Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3, Watch 4 and Watch Active 4.

The date doesn’t match a schedule released by Evan Blass back in March of this year, when he said he received a sort of timeline of Samsung releases until the month of August. So far, he missed for a few weeks the PC announcements, which was scheduled for April 14 and happened two weeks later, and the Galaxy Tab S7 Lite, which would be in June and ended up happening still in May. The Galaxy A22 4G and 5G also arrived ahead of schedule, which was July.
Recently, Blass returned to post information on the Twitter thread in which he released the timeline to talk about a possible Samsung positioning for the Galaxy S21 FE, which would be seen as the true successor of the Note 20. In other words, he maintains, in a way, the bet that the cheapest version of the S21 series will be in August. The S21 FE Unpack would be on the 19th, according to leaker information in March.
Of course, Samsung may have changed the schedule to adapt to unforeseen events or even by planning the best time to announce the products. The point is that Blass got the information of an Unpacked on August 19th, without citing folds and watches, and now the rumor is that the Z Flip, Z Fold and Galaxy Watch series will be updated on August 3rd.
In addition to the event to be held at the beginning of August, another source published a series of rumors on his website with dates for the launch of the Galaxy Watch 4, Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3. However, the leaker in question has lost credibility for getting the leaks quite wrong in early 2021.
This is youtuber Jon Prosser, who has made three posts on his website, one for each series of Samsung products. According to its sources, the Watch 4 and Watch 4 Active watches will begin sales on August 11, in the 42 mm and 46 mm options for the Watch 4 and 40 mm and 44 mm in the Active variant. On an alleged announcement of smartwatches on MWC, Prosser said his source cannot confirm such a possibility.
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 folding cell phones would hit stores on August 27, according to youtuber sources. Prosser’s information does not rule out the possibility that Samsung will perform an Unpacked on August 3, as this may be the day of the announcement, and the dates disclosed by him are the beginning of sales of the products.
