How to delete your Uber account

Uber (Android | iOS) is a free transportation app that allows the user to call a private car and recently implemented the function of calling a taxi driver. The service has numerous advantages and features for its users, but if you no longer want to use it, you can delete your account.

How to delete Uber account

Step 1: Open the Uber app and click on the “Three lines” icon in the upper left corner.

Step 2: with the side menu open, click on “Settings”.

Step 3: in the next tab, select the item “Privacy”.

Step 4: Then click on “Delete account” at the bottom of the page.

Step 5: enter your Uber account email at the location indicated, click on “Next” and check the option “I’m not a robot”.

Step 6: enter your password and click "Next" again.

Step 7: a security code will be sent to your cell phone to verify your account. Insert it in the indicated location and click "Check" to proceed.

Step 8: Keep in mind that when you delete your Uber account, the app's user profile and Uber Eats will be disabled. Aware of this, click on “Continue”.

Step 9: check one of the options indicating the reason why you want to delete your account.

Step 10: on the next tab, click on “Delete account” to finish the process. If you change your mind, you can still reactivate your account within 30 days.

Ready! If you no longer want to continue using Uber resources, you can now delete your account.
