Microsoft tests Outlook integration with Gmail, Google Drive, and Calendar

Microsoft has begun testing a Google product integration feature with its email, Outlook. According to user Florian B on Twitter, the company plans to integrate Gmail, Google Drive and Google Calendar, just by making a brief configuration in the web version of the email service.

User-released images show a message box displayed within Outlook, informing you that you can incorporate Gmail, Calendar, and Drive to "manage everything in one place." At least in this trial version, only one Google account can be associated within the Microsoft email.

With integration, you can quickly attach documents and images when composing an email in Outlook, speeding up the process. It's also a great choice for those who prefer to use Google Docs and Google Drive instead of Office 365 or OneDrive, which belongs to Microsoft. "Google Drive is seamlessly integrated with Outlook," said the user.

There are no official announcements about integration, nor global availability information yet. We tested here and the feature is not yet available, if you are already checking, tell us here in the comments!
